Lindblad Expeditions Moving Posters
DURATION: 6 weeks
PROGRAMS+MATERIALS: Sai, Photoshop, hand-lettering
CLASS: Art of the Poster: Digital to Analog || Robynne Raye
Each student was randomly given a company to create moving posters for in order to advertise their business. I had drawn Lindblad Expeditions, which is a cruise line that teams up with National Geographic in order to take passengers to places rarely visited.
For these posters, I wanted to highlight the expedition to the Pacific Northwest with fun illustrations in order to draw in more middle aged women and their families, as the current demographic for the cruise seemed rather limited. I had started with sketches, transferred that into my usual illustration program, and then hand-lettered all the text. This series was created to be displayed on social media platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook.
